On this episode of the podcast I sit down with my second cousin Nick Dempsey, Nick is one of those people you meet and can’t help but feel his positivity rub off on you in some way.
He has the special ability of seeing the good in everything and can really make you question what you see as a negative or a positive, he is a glass half full kind of person that has made it his mission to help others in whatever way he can.
He grew up in Albury/Wodonga and lived a normal rural county life style of playing sports and learning a trade, everything seemed to be going the right direction for Nick until unfortunately on his 21st birthday he dove head first into his family pool, this resulted in C3/4 spinal injury that left Nick as a quadriplegic, since that day Nick has gone through extensive rehab and many ups and downs yet even through all this Nick still sees the world through very positive eyes and uses his story to help inspire and help others that may be struggling in some way in their life.
Even though Nick and I are second cousins this was actually the first time we have officially met.
